My relocation to Seyðisfjörður coincided with the peak of the tourism boom in Iceland. While living in a decommissioned fish factory in the East fjords, I witnessed cruise ships gliding by my kitchen window almost every day in summer, the number of arrivals increasing each year. "Looking North" is a five-year survey of my travels and my surroundings while settling into a new life in Iceland.
